CaliberShield Security Services Ltd. was established in 2025 with a goal to achieve an elite standard of customer service, create better employment and development opportunities for security professionals, and strengthen recognition of security guards as the first line of response at the sites and properties they protect.
When an incident occurs at a guarded property, the security guard on duty is often the first person on site to identify, assess and respond to the situation. Before police, fire or emergency medical services arrive, security personnel may be responsible for initiating site emergency procedures, communicating critical information, controlling access, assisting with evacuation or crowd management, protecting the scene and contacting the appropriate emergency services.
CaliberShield believes this responsibility requires more than simply placing a licensed guard at a site. Every assignment has different hazards, procedures, responsibilities and client expectations. Our goal is to ensure guards are properly oriented and prepared for their individual assignment, understand their post orders and emergency procedures, and know what is expected of them before beginning their duties.
